Natural stone,
thoughtfully sourced.
We work with natural stone and engineered stone — and we can source materials on your behalf. Every material below is something we can specify, supply, and fabricate, with honest advice on suitability for your particular application.
Engineered stone: The industry has transitioned — all engineered stone available in Australia is now manufactured to non-silica formulations. EMG works with engineered stone alongside natural stone, and can advise on the right material for your project regardless of where you're starting from. Talk to us →

Calacatta Gold
Warm white base with bold gold and grey veining. The benchmark luxury marble.
Polished, Honed, Leathered
Kitchen benchtops, bathroom vanities, feature walls
Bold, sweeping veining with strong contrast between warm gold and white. Look for slabs where gold veining moves continuously and confidently across the surface.

Statuario
Bright white with dramatic grey veining. More graphic than Calacatta.
Polished, Honed
Feature walls, bathroom, commercial statement pieces
Dramatic grey veining with strong directionality across a bright white base. Look for slabs where veins have clear, purposeful movement — not scattered marks.

Nero Marquina
Deep black with sharp white veining. High contrast, architectural impact.
Polished, Honed
Feature walls, bathroom floors, commercial interiors
Crisp, well-defined white veining against a consistently deep black base. Minimal pitting — veins that cut with precision and read as architectural rather than decorative.

Arabescato
White ground with irregular grey and gold veining. Organic movement.
Polished, Honed
Benchtops, wall cladding, decorative applications
A balance of fine and bold veining with warm gold accents. Movement that feels organic and alive without becoming chaotic or busy.

Taj Mahal
Soft beige tones that complement any contemporary interior. Durable quartzite with a warmth that reads as refined rather than rustic.
Polished, Honed, Leathered
Kitchen benchtops, bathroom vanities, feature walls
Soft sweeping movements in the slabs to capture organic movements in nature. A consistent, even background tone with veining that flows rather than fractures.

Super White Quartzite
White to pale grey with subtle movement. Harder and more stain-resistant than marble.
Polished, Honed, Leathered
Kitchen benchtops, bathroom vanities — durable alternative to white marble
Consistent pale tone with just enough movement to read as stone rather than engineered. Subtle cloud-like variation rather than sharp, abrupt veins.

Noce Travertine
Warm dark walnut tones with natural pitting. Rustic yet refined.
Filled & Polished, Honed, Brushed
Flooring, wall cladding, outdoor areas
Rich, consistent walnut tone with natural pitting that reads as texture rather than damage. Even colour distribution with no abrupt light patches.

Classic Travertine
Warm beige to cream with natural pores and linear grain. Timeless.
Filled & Polished, Honed, Unfilled
Flooring, pool surrounds, wall cladding
Warm, consistent cream with natural linear banding. Pores that feel like character and depth — not deterioration. Even, golden undertone throughout.

Bianco Carrara
Classic white with soft, fine grey veining. The most widely specified marble in Sydney — more restrained than Calacatta, consistently available, and competitively priced.
Polished, Honed
Bathroom vanities, shower walls, splashbacks, residential applications
Fine, consistent grey veining that flows gently across a clean white base. Soft movement is the classic choice — avoid slabs with heavy blue-grey clusters or abrupt shifts in tone.

Pietra Grey
Deep charcoal-grey with fine, crisp white veining. High contrast and architectural presence — one of the most requested dark stones in Sydney for contemporary residential and hospitality.
Polished, Honed, Brushed
Feature walls, bathroom floors, commercial interiors, hotel lobbies
Crisp white veining that moves with confidence across a deep, even charcoal base. High contrast with a clear directional grain — the drama comes from consistency, not chaos.

Superwhite
Very forgiving stone that has been a cult classic for the modern home. White base with soft grey veining and excellent durability for everyday use.
Polished, Honed, Leathered
Kitchen benchtops, bathroom vanities — a cult classic for the modern home
Busy dramatic veins with a soft light grey base. The contrast between the white ground and the movement is what makes it special — look for energy in the slab without losing the lightness.

White Dolomite
White to pale grey with soft, rippling grey veining. Harder and less porous than marble — a practical alternative to Calacatta for kitchen use.
Polished, Honed, Leathered
Kitchen benchtops, bathroom vanities — for clients wanting marble aesthetics with better durability
Rippling grey veining with gentle, continuous movement and consistent depth. Avoid slabs where veining looks fragmented or breaks up abruptly.

Arabescato Vagli
Fractured white with bold grey and warm gold veining. More dramatic in movement than standard Arabescato — each slab tells a distinct story.
Polished, Honed
Benchtops, feature walls, bathroom vanities
A balance in small and large rock formations along with clean contrast. The interplay between the fractured white and the bold veining is what gives this stone its character.

Honey Onyx
Warm amber to honey-gold with translucent, flowing banding. When backlit, the natural crystal structure glows. Suited to statement pieces — not large surface areas. Extremely distinctive.
Polished, Honed
Feature walls, bar tops, bespoke furniture, backlit panels
Strong, translucent amber banding with consistent flow and warm, even tone. Best when honey tones are neither too orange nor too pale — and the banding flows rather than breaks.
